Vacation Scholarships
Vacation Scholarships offer students the chance to gain practical experience working in the field of physics. Interested students are strongly encouraged to discuss projects with individual researchers. Second year, third year and honours students may apply, with preference given to third year students whose intention is to proceed with honours in Physics at UWA. Remuneration will be at the rate of $250 per week for six weeks, or spread over a longer period by negotiation with supervisors. Applications for the 2006 Vacation Scholarships have now closed. Successful applicants should complete the following forms with your supervisor and submit to David Faithfull, the School Manager (Rm 4.4, 4th Floor, Physics Building, ph. 6488 2740). Any queries, or requests for help completing the forms should also be directed to the School Manager.
