Courses:

• Course requirements:

  • 24 points dissertation and 24 points coursework.

  • You can take 6-12 points of approved Maths, Geophysics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Chemistry courses.

  • NB: your enrolment needs to be finalised by the end of the 3rd week of each semester.

Research:

• Library information session

• Research proposal — due Friday 4pm of week 6 of Semester 1

• Honours project report — due Friday 4pm of week 12 of Semester 2

• Seminars:

  • Honours seminars — in week 13 of Semester 2

  • Seminar abstract by email — due Friday 5pm of week 12 of Semester 2

  • Honours students are expected to attend Departmental seminars — usually 4pm Thursday

• Scholarship applications in second semester

Workshop/Demonstrating:

• Arrangements for workshop practice classes — Gary Light

Miscellaneous:

• Election of an Honours Student Representative

• Employment contracts for demonstrating
